do you have to run/open the file once its done downloading to get a virus?
Like for example, say im downloading a torrent. and the torrent might have a virus. do i have to run or open or run said file to get the virus? or once its done downloading am i so screwwed i can't even check if its a virus?

depends on, where are you downloading it to? Autostart?
Otherwise it shouldn't run.

shouldn't be a prob. unless your AV sux... it generally runs all programs in a virtual environment to test what they are.

whatever. the download worked  FLAWLESSLY. except malwarebytes doesn't like it. have to add it to malwarebytes exceptions. fucking love this game. the anti cheat actually works and it has the dedicated server browser. |

Malwarebytes generally DOESN'T give incorrect reports.

its said it successfully blocked an potentially malicious IP.
I googled it. and numerous sites said it was fine. just a false negative.
no viruses. it checks out clean with ALL of my antiviruses. it checks out with avira antivir, spybot S&D, and malwarebytes but when i run the file it says malwarebytes blocked an IP that could be potentially malicious.
I would like to note. malwarebytes does do this. it does it on several of the rom sites i go to also.
Get on skype if ur concerned.

yeah. a malicious IP.... thought it was the program ^^*
I don't personally use that feature. It does that to all ads (They are technically malicious)
