Updates/screens after I redo the grass texture; it's too green for the icyness of the forest.
On reflection, I realised I'm still missing a few textures.

Edit: For now, stopping on textures, too tired. I'll get back to map and text modding tomorrow, and do textures when I feel like it. Have a nice day, anyone who still has the joy of half their saturday remaining when I have 8 minutes.

Ok, so it's taking a while to figure out the exit modifiers for this, but I finally found one for the Shadow Temple ;D. Also, I'm not exactly modding this in order of storyline at the moment, because I'm still trying to think what Hyrule Field will look like (on second thoughts... is there going to be a Hyrule Field? Probably.) So at the moment, I'm doing the lost woods, which in fact is where the third dungeon is set (Ice Temple, based off Shadow Temple). Also still missing a few textures, I'll delete all the dumped ones and dump them all again when I can be bothered/am not modding maps. ;D
Update! Fixed a bug where you always came out at the wrong part of the map, and I don't even know how. Lost woods... MISSION COMPLETE! ;D (almost...)
Also, poll is closed because the first boss has been decided, and it's Bongo Bongo.
Totally finished Lost woods, just need to do the textures. Fixed something where Saria didn't appear at all in the cutscene leaving the forest. Also added the exit in the Shadow Temple to go back to the Lost Woods.
And I'll post a vid so you can see it in a minute (when it's uploaded).

If I can continue to mod like I did for that part, there is likely to be a patch very soon. ;D That didn't take much time at all, and hardly anything was going wrong with it, and it's still good. Let's hope that will stay true for the rest of the game. More updates tomorrow, might start on Hyrule Field, but I'm still figuring out how that will look, so I might do Kakariko instead. Also there's still Saria's text left to do.

I would make a custom boss, but for the moment, that's way above me. Maybe one day though. However I might try porting a map from MM and if I can do that sucessfully I might put a MM map in this mod. Unlikely though cause I know pretty much everything that's going in it already. But I do need a room which would be good for a duel (with dark Link), and that only has two exits, but not a dungeon room because all rooms in a dungeon are linked. Anyone have any suggestions for that? Just realised, my original one could still work. I was gonna have the duel in the Temple of Time, I can still do it if I just change the exit in there to go wherever, and change Link's spawn point so it looks like you came in from somewhere else. But still, it might work better in a room other than the Temple of Time.
Wow... I have a sh*t load of homework, which means I'll have to mod after I've done it.
Update: My original plans for Kakariko village may not be possible, it's looking like all the houses that are actually whole are joined to the floor collision, so moving them isn't going to be easily done without mucking up the floor. That's not to say I'm not going to try though.
In fact it seems pretty much everything is joined, except from the fences and that big tower thingy (not the windmill).
