I'm catching up on text editing right now, figuring out what Saria should say. Also going to do Saria's textures.

alright i never really liked text editing too much hassle with just a hex editor, at least in my opinion thats why i made ZSE but it looks real good so far man

Thanks. ;D I prefer a hex editor to ZSE though. I mean ZSE is really good, but with a hex editor you can change where boxes end, which I need to do sometimes as not all lines fit, and also with a hex editor I can make it play sounds and show pictures/icons (can't remember if that was implemented in ZSE or not).

If you need help figuring out what each one does, I made a thread in codes which says what most of them are, but they are probably different in MM, so I couldn't help you with that one (yet, I will get round to modding MM one day).

So, before I go tonight, you get a screen! ;D Saria's textures: Hope you like them, if you think I can improve on them, tell me how and I'll try. ;D More tomorrow, and I've kind of come up with a schedule; weekends + wednesdays : maps other days : textures and text Tomorrow is wednesday, so I'll try to get some maps done as much as I can.

Yes, this it what a mod is supposed to be! In Zelda's Birthday, JSA managed to flatten out Kokiri Forest [all the houses are gone], maybe you should try the same? First you gotta play the mod, big chance you'll like it!

If I got rid of the houses, it would destroy the point of what Saria says at the start. But it would be easy enough to do. I'm going to do the first dungeon when I get home, aiming for a beta patch this weekend for you guys. That's if all goes well. If I get all that done though, there will probably still be some textures missing.

You'll see soon enough (nothing important). Staring editing maps now. Update: Done the exits and edited Bongo Bongo's room so young Link can climb back onto the platform. Another: Ok... something's gone majorly wrong, but I don't know... it could still be ok. Oh it didn't go too wrong... apart from Kakariko Village will not load no matter what I do. Eh, I'll just replace it with another map . Gerudo Village, anyone? It's all going wrong But I'm trying to fix it... When all else fails... punch restart your computer. Well seeing as that didn't work and I haven't made backups of those files, it's permanently f*cked. Though I may have a solution *hopes*. Kakariko Village is alive! I won! YAY!Now I don't have to get rid of stuff... phew. Now back to modding ^^. When I think about it, it would have still been good without Kakariko, I would have had Hyrule Field lead straight to Death Mountain, and instead of Goron City, It would be the Graveyard (after editing the map to make Goron City entrance look like it lead somewhere outside, of course). Well there's something horribly wrong with the Graveyard, but at least it's working again. It loads, but Link is in the air in the middle of nothing, falling. After he falls for about 1 second, he splits in two just as if I used a cloning code... ? Got it working, but as soon as you cross the border from room 1 to room 2 (by the Shadow Temple entrance) another Link spawns WAY off the map, and it ends up makng you reappear in a random place again BUT this doesn't matter because you on't be going near the Shadow Temple. Until I get a solution to the disappearing scenery, there won't be any major landscaping stuff going on. Waiting on it though.
