I'm trying to run this on VBA (Linking Version) but I doubt that matters. When I run the the game, instead of going to the instructions, it first goes to the menu & states "the 1m sub-circuit board is not installed" then continues to the instruction/intro/game. When I try to save it says "save error, please exchange backup memory"
I want to be able to save in-game (note: this problem does not exist in the leaf green ROM, why is that?)
Help?

yeah, no$gba actually seems to work better for DS games (funny, I changed the save type & got pokemon dp to work on it that easily :\)

The rom is fine. It's the emulator. I know what this is. >.>
Make a folder called VBA. Make sure it's empty. Place your VBA executable in there and execute it there. Make sure the ROM is in the same folder. Now, if you keep getting this error, google "vba-over.ini" and download that. Put it in the same folder as the executable. It should work after that.
