To make the slingshot shoot arrows, go to 0xC0323A in ROM and change 0009 to 0002. Arrows won't work properly as an adult anymore though, so you'll need a bit of assembly hacking to get around that.

BETA Arrows CONFIRMED

Arrows 6, 7, and 8 are not simply repeats of the fire arrow. The fire arrow animation may act as a place holder, but these arrows have their own damage mappings within the enemy damage charts.

Also the 3 additional arrows don't use magic when used.

PROOF!

Like Like's only give the large purple rupee when defeated with light arrows. So? Well, all 3 beta arrows give unique items when used to defeat the like like.

Light Arrow : Huge Purple Rupee
"Wind" Arrow : Magic Jar
"Spirit" Arrow : Arrow
"Shadow" Arrow : Fairy

Test it if you need to, remap the damage mappings for the new arrows in any enemy, it'll work!

I've moved this into a new topic for you.
Nice work on finding they have unique item drops and damage mappings, it's just a shame there isn't an in-game item that would make the beta arrows equippable. Maybe someone will come up with a hack that lets you change arrow types during gameplay to be able to include these.

0001 is the arrow without the green thing

0000 arrow on fire when it goes through a torch.

The breakpoint 80032458 is the point where link pulls out a bomb to! and allot of other stuff! so like If I pulled out a bombchu it would break (if breakpoint is set)!!!
