Hello,
We all know there is a Zelda ocarina Of Time Master Quest debug rom, but is there also a debug version of Majora's Mask? I just want to know because some sources say that it exists and others don't.
thanks,
bern

Yes there is one, BUT there is some speculation that it is a fake and is a masterfully crafted hack that would live up to the extent of cendamos's abilities. Eh idk which to believe

I've seen a video of it and I've seen people talking about using it. They also mentioned half of Ocarina of Time being in the ROM too. Apparently, it was released months ago, and l somehow missed it. Of course, the one download for it has its site down. But wouldn't you think at least one person would make a torrent of it?

It is fake, I don't feel like explaining how I know right now though. I'll say this though, if it is real, then shouldn't the NOCLIP work and be ably to take you through any collision in the game? Swamp Shooting Gallery, maybe other places. Try it.

Hello,
I heard a lot about it...there must also be a camera debug mode like the OOT debug rom. Let's hope it's real...
Another question: how do these roms get so public distributed...do they come from Nintendo Japan...?

Swamp Shooting Gallery, maybe other places. Try it. First, l just wanna say that a debugging NOCLIP thingie not working to me sounds like they just broke it a little bit and didn't care. I mean, if it's only a few places, I can see why they wouldn't fix it. Another question: how do these roms get so public distributed...do they come from Nintendo Japan...? I think some just get sold off at an auction, then a hacker or someone like that pays loads of ca$h to get the game temporarily so they can make a ROM file out of it. He actually pm'd me a link Those words taunt me ever so much. ;(

The MM 'debug ROM' hasn't been around long. I don't know if it's real or not. Here's the message cen left in the ROM: www.zelda64.net hello zelda fansmy name is cen and i sure love zelda because i spent a few thousand dollars on this hoping it would have cool stuff -- and it did!! following this padding is an overdump of the original development copy of ocarina of time!! anyway, i am the guy who made all those weird codes like the arwing hack with my pal jay, or play as dark link and even made the game multiplayer! so i am a pretty big zelda fan. i bought this for all those people still looking for new stuff; and while i already have myself ripped apart this ROM, I will leave it up to the ZELDA FANS to have lots of fun trying to find all the hidden stuff inside of it! so here is hoping you guys have lots of fun with it because it cost an assload and i could have totally bought a microwave instead or something really cool and please no dramawars! regardless if you need help with hacking this thing dont hesitate to email me at cendamos@gmail.com by the way, this was all useless padding space; so i decided to write a very long rant about hacking zelda. you might wonder why i shelled out a few thousand dollars, and i do too. it's mainly because without zelda being all mysterious, i'd have never ever had the drive to obtain all the skills i needed to reverse engineer the game. as a result i am now employed as a professional programmer and making good money, all thanks to zelda and the zelda fans who liked my work. so, without zelda i have no idea where i would be today. you can visit the zelda64 fan club at zelda64.net also if you're a nintendo employee you really should consider giving me a alpha copy of ocarina of time so that i can document it because that is a totally awesome idea. or if you're a cute girl who likes zelda hacking you should definitely email me a picture of yourself!! but yeah hey, gonna go now and release this ROM if you wanna say hi or have a penpal cendamos@gmail.com is my email have fun zelda fans!! from cen, with love (plzdontsuemenintendo)

Judging from what cendamos said in the little note, either he got another rom that has some beta OoT in it or ther is some maps in the Debug MM rom. Try extracting all the files with ZRE and see what u find

The ROM contains a complete set of OOTv1.0 maps, but they are not accessible ingame as they do not have any pointers referencing them.

There aren't any torrents of it, which I find really odd. *cough* But before l saw the video, l saw a Cutting Room Floor article about it. wiki.rustedlogic.net/The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Majora's_Mask_(Debug_Version) That place doesn't tend to lie and was actually updated since l checked last, so that must mean something. Made by Nintendo or just a hack by Cen, it still exists somewhere.
