Just for a bit of background info for Snake and Bobbo.

ash joined way before me and was very helpful to me when I first started out here, he was also my inspiration to make up the spam board, I have a lot of respect for him. I can understand the whole grammar issue and I do agree with it, but I just bid people not to judge him by it.
As for me, I am sort of a Grammar Nazi, Heil Tetsuke! and whatnot.

I don't have a problem with ash's spelling or grammar because it's usually easy to understand what he's saying.
Snake: We could add a rule about spelling/grammar/legibility of posts. Members who do not follow the rules on this site will usually end up getting a ban but a lot of members don't read them because they only come here for the codes/mods. The problem with this rule would be where to draw the line because it's more complicated when language barriers are involved. There may be members who come here for help but can't make a clear post because they are not familiar with English, this isn't really deserving of a ban. As for people who can't make legible posts when English is their first language, it does look more like spam.

That is also true. Something else you could try would be editing posts.

IvanX, thanks, thanks alot DB: i think we have a rule about that, to say the least its about spamming. now we could elabierate more on that by saying "no spamming and all sentenciess must me legiabel" to the rules. i dont want to make the rules to long because A. if its like a paragraph people wont bather to read it and just keep on going, and B. if we have to manny rules people will just be discuredg from our boards and not come here. so, here is what i propose. we add that lil tidbit i put in erler to the rules. and then we automate a "new member Rules list" if we could ( i think this is only somthing punk can do, but it will send every new member a "welcome" message, and we could put a breif review of the rules in it). what do yall think?

Sounds like a good idea. We should at least try it.

I think there's a welcome message already, I think I remember getting one when I joined. I don't know if it's still there though (punk should know), but it would probably be useful to have something like that.
I've added this to the rules: 13. Don't spam unless it's in the spam board. Try to use correct spelling and grammar so we can understand you.
It's a separate rule because the other rules relate to spam but don't directly mention it.

Cool, now if only some members actually take heed of the rules, I better re-read them myself before I break one and Ivan bans me.

I think he's more likely to ban me because I cussed him out once/twice/three times(i dont remember).
