Ok, so i succesfully used python 2.6.5 and obj2area to put a small test custom map into the my OoT Debug ROM. The ROM was downloaded from the internet, and had no issues fixed with Zelda Edit (japanese level select, missing parts of field in intro, etc.) But, i wanted the english level select and the other fixes, so i used zelda edit, byteswapped to big endian, and applied all of the fixes, then i tried to import the same map again, and when its selected on the level select, the japanese lettering comes up, and it refuses to load any further. It angers me because i want the ROM fixes, but it seems as if Obj2Area won't work unless its unfixed.
Can anyone help me out with this issue??

Well, i didn't think this would solve the problem, but i switched from Jabo's 1.6 plugin to the 1964 community video plugin, and the debug rom (unfixed) appears to have NO glitches so far. Thank you, i didnt even think about trying a plugin switch

Yeah well the 1964 video plugin appears to have fixed most of the broken looking parts of the ROM, aside from the Japanese level select, which doesnt matter too much. Thanks again!
