How do I extract stuff and have it show up somewhere? I go to ROM filename and choose ZELOOTMA.Z64 the when I choose output Directory there's two dots and a slash (../) and nothing else! I need help because I want to be able to edit Zmaps and other stuff in my Hex Editor. (XV132)

@ Naxylldritt: Thank you for the everything, but how do I put this into the ROM? No, I can't work UoT.

You can try manually inserting it if you know the offsets of the file and copy all the data and reinsert it through a hex editor. But it's a lot simpler if you just use Utility of Time to edit and inject the files. If you're having so much trouble using the old version to read from the files, why not use the new version which reads directly from the ROM?

Okay I got it working. How do I move the camera around? It's stuck in one spot. Like zoom and stuff. Also, how do I edit a map and have it save to the ROM so I can make my own maps? I want to make Lake Hylia, and the Water Temple into the BETA Ice Temple (Lake Hylia is the outside.). Also replace the Fishing Hole with the Ice Cavern.

What you're trying to do is currently beyond the limitations of Utility of Time. For creating entirely new maps, I'd recommend building it yourself in SketchUp, 3DS Max, or some other modeling program, and then importing it using spinout's model converter. Of course, that, too, has its limitations, so your goal at the moment may be more or less impossible. As for replacing the Fishing Pond with the Ice Cavern, that's a simple change to the exit table (well, simple if you know what you're doing). Just repoint the offsets in Lake Hylia that lead to the Fishing Pond to go to the Ice Cavern, and have the exit from the Ice Cavern to Zora's Fountain lead to Lake Hylia instead. No UoT required.
As for actually moving around the camera in UoT, just use the WASD keys to go forward, backwards, left and right. Left-click and hold to move the camera's facing direction, and middle-click hold to move up and down on the Y-axis. At present, only actor modification and movement is possible, so actually changing the mesh and collision for the maps like you seem to want to do can only be done through older versions of UoT (I recommend version .90 beta 1).

So I can't edit maps?

Yes, you can, but not in the way you're aiming to do it. You'll need to overwrite the Water Temple and Lake Hylia with your Ice Temple models, and modify exits accordingly (though that will prove difficult; adding exits to a custom map is something that only JSA could do as far as I know, but someone else might be able to pull it off, too). You can repoint everything to be interconnected, so that the outer Ice Temple can go to the Ice Cavern and the inner Ice Temple, and have both of the other maps connected to the exterior accordingly.

That sounds link something I can't do. Well, alone anyway... Who wants to help remake the beta Ice Temple? I've got a picture of the Ice Medallion from an old beta screen shot.
