I'm hoping there will be no voiceovers in this, or any other Zelda games for that matter. I just find that voiceovers make it seem more like you are watching it and not actually involved at all, whereas if there is text then it's easier to place yourself in the game because you can easily step into Link's shoes. What I mean is that it's more like you put yourself in the game, rather than looking into it. I actually find it to be more realistic with text rather than voiceovers, since the emotions and voices and therefore reality of the game becomes more believable (you make them in your own brain).
I think this new game will go the way Twilight Princess did. It will try to be good, have a few new features, but in the end it will just end up being an alright game with the same basic storyline. It will be good but nothing too amazing. Nintendo should do another game like Majora's Mask, that was very interesting.

majora's mask, that game seemed very evil, in a dark, grunge way, i think the music had high effect on how the game was played, but adult link would have been WAY cooler than young link, The feirce deity got pointless - too many abilities z- target and electrodisk things shoot out .

adult link would have been WAY cooler than young link. Lies Being a kid on the verge of adolescence give a feeling of a futile effort, like the world is literally against you, but you learn to care for yourself. It's like being in a movie where your actions builds up who your avatar really is. The game starts off in the lost woods, being a symbolism of sorts of links efforts to find Navi. Then out of the blue, you turned into what essentially a shrub with leg. When all seems pointless, you find a way to return to whom you really are and thought the process you learn your deku form isn't as pathetic as he seems. The whole game is a testament to personal growth and acceptance.

Or it proves masks give you super powers, Nintendo lied to us again! And Adult Link would have been pretty cool, but most Zelda games have a child Link in them.
GTFO Deku Link can use a sword.

I would kill to see majora's mask in high poly GFX, but im just noticed something... I wanna make a fan-made game nao

Everything was great: the dismal atmosphere, the metaphorical meanings in places and happennings, the unique gameplay (I have NEVER seen again a world so alive, with people having their daily routines, and their own problems while a bigger one looms over their heads).

Link was also a child to symbolise his innocence. If Nintendo made another game like Majora's Mask it would probably be one of their best games, especially on the new systems. Much more detail would be in it with much higher resolution models and graphics, and with the characters having routines that depend on the day, and not on the position you are in the storyline makes it so much more realistic. Just think about real life, the whole world doesn't wait for you to finish your homework before it changes.
Where Nintendo go wrong is when they try to make it too good. They will spend too much time on the game, and not have enough brilliant features in it. Think of Twilight Princess, we waited for it since before the GC was released. Yes, there was Wind Waker, but everyone was expecting a more realistic Zelda since long before that. Once it was released, it was like the end of a very long wait, but then the game turned out to be less than expected. They could have at least added GC controller support for the Wii version. Majora's Mask was one of the fastest Zelda games to be released, just a year and a half after Ocarina of Time, and it was evident that it would be one of the best pretty much as soon as the gameplay starts. It is still the most realistic game I have ever played. It also had a very good storyline, and the characters were far more interactive and the game had much more emotion. I also liked the fact that Link was in a whole new world, and didn't even know any of the people. It really put you into his character on the first play because it was new to you too. There was a complete sense of hopelessness that really made you take the game seriously. Now think to Twilight Princess again. You defeat Zant, and then you can just run around Hyrule while Ganondorf sits in his castle waiting for you rather than trying to actually stop you. In Majora's Mask you always have a limit on the time you have left.
But anyway, Nintendo should definitely make another game like Majora's Mask, and should add GC controller support because the Wii controls mess things up sometimes.

it makes sense now, im starting to agree.
also, i like the idea of adding the wii motion plus, i would really like that. so that you actually have to swing a sword, rather than flick to the left.

Twilight Princess did not have good controls on Wii because it had been developed as a GCN game (that's why I own the GameCube version). I am very confident in Nintendo, as I think they will be able to make something great by developing from the beginning for the Wii and by using the Motion Plus, which will grant us 1:1 controls. I'd suggest to take a look at these rumors, they sound pretty believable: www.zeldainformer.com/2010/01/new-zelda-wii-information-leaked.php#more

Some of those sound quite good, and I definitely like the idea of choosing whether Link is left or right handed.

I like the entire idea of Zelda Wii. I seriously want 1:1 motion controls, cuz i feel like that would allow us the ability to use Link's sword to block enemies, which sound sooooo awesome.
