Hey guys im new here but know my way round stuff like UoT a bit, Neways Im rather tired of messing round with The Debug rom but im utterly lost in modding 1.0 as everyone gives tutorials and what not for the Debug rom only, least that ive found. If im wrong PLEASE let me know. Anyways ive posted this to ask a few things.
First is, Ive looked but havent rlly found any list for matching zmap and zscene data or telling mew what they are. If there is a list out could you please tell me, if not i will be making one XD and will post it when im done.
Second, Ive found tuts on how to port maps into the debug rom without replacing existing maps... Can ne1 show me how to do it with the 1.0 rom?

it only works with teh debug rom. You mean map porting, or map porting without replacing a map? Or are you talking bout Uot?

Correction, 1.0 works, but it needs to be decompressed. V1.0 is hackable, but Debug would be the way to go, amirite DeathBasket?

i mean uot, map porting without replacing a map, and map porting. I know for sure that Uot works with 1.0 at least... as i have used it on 1.0 before, its just that the files have messed up names so people usually dont bother. Im assuming porting is just harder for 1.0 in a similar way, that people havent takin the time to figure it out yet because it is much easier on the debug rom. Correction, 1.0 works, but it needs to be decompressed. V1.0 is hackable, but Debug would be the way to go, amirite DeathBasket? I do realize that its harder to mess around with 1.0, thats why im askin for help XD I mean surly other people are bored with the Debug rom... Someone must know something that will help me. Btw my list of Zscenes and ZMaps is progressing nicely but theres alot of work to do so it probably wont be done for awhile.

hey bobbo the clown i know darkestlight he helped me on one of my requests yep im helpful, and just here trying to expand our understanding for 1.0 so people can make mods of the rom that you can actually play through as opposed to the debug rom. Ill be posting a either WIP or an actual list of Zscenes and ZMaps for Uot 1.0 rom soon! (no greater then a week away), and im hoping that someone can take it apone themselfs to do this for other areas such as MM or Zobjects caz im busy with collage so i dun wana do all the work , Oh btw if there is a list for this stuff on MM and you know where it is can u leave a link caz i dun wanna go look for it

Correction, 1.0 works, but it needs to be decompressed. V1.0 is hackable, but Debug would be the way to go, amirite DeathBasket? This. V1.0 is not as easily modified as the Debug ROM. It's not to do with lack of documentation, just the game itself is harder to edit because it won't accept major changes as easily as the Debug ROM will. Even after that, playing through parts of a mod while making it is a pain because you can't use the Debug controls to change area/equipment etc. Doing any modification to V1.0 is the same as doing it to the Debug ROM, so you confirmed it yourself by saying it is harder. Even when the ROM is decompressed I still recommend sticking with the Debug ROM. You can always port the maps over from the V1.0 ROM anyway. Also: 64.vg/wiki/index.php?title=Zelda_64_Scene_Listings

Ty for the list but it dosent work for me. I have (U) but i tried both (U) and (E) to be sure... and it cant be that mine is (or isnt) compressed because it lists both... Ne idea why?

You have to disable the map select function and Debug controls (which I don't know how to do). If you don't want to pick the starting map, play file 2 or 3.
