Ok, so I just got a hex editor because I want to try to make my own Debug ROM codes. However, I don't know how to use hex, although what I have read so far seems to make sense. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to use a hex editor or point me in the right direction of a tutorial. I am not sure if this is in the right section, so if not, go ahead and move it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't make codes with a hex editor. You make codes in a memory editor, such as the one included in Nemu 64.

Oh. Then what do you use a hex editor for again? To hack, right?

You use a hex editor to change data in a computer's memory on a hexadecimal level.
