Someone please update the Custom Sword Tutorial

Idk if this is an already posted topic but, I was wondering if someone or Jason777 could update their custom sword tutorial or simplify it a bit because I did it and it ruined my rom, I did everything exactly how it said, maybe someone make a noob friendly version, please help

It could be that you got the wrong version of Spinout's converter or don't have Python and the required libraries installed.

I believe in order to run the latest version of his importer (correctly), you need Python 2.6 with the PyPng package. It took me forever to figure that out myself because no one's bothered to state it. ^_^'

shadow19: That is a very old version of my tutorial. Glitchkill has a newer (not as old) version in their tutorial section. Also, lost what you did step-by-step so that way I can figure out what's going wrong: Newer Tutorial

Also, spinout has come out with an even better converter: OBJN64Tool

If I ever do update my tutorial, I'll have it use objn64tool as the display list converter.
