Hello all. I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I've been using PJ64 for a while now, I've heard about 1964, Nemu64, and Mupen64 but never thought of switching since PJ64 since it has always worked fin for my purposes. Anyways, I recently attempted some 2-player and noticed that it was a lot glitchier. Specifically, Super Smash Brothers was nearly unplayable due to laggy controls and lots of flickering textures, and Super Mario Kart was playable but still had texture problems. I realise that multiplayer harder to emulate and that it makes sense for it to be glitchy, but i am wondering if this is how PJ64 normally acts or there is a problem with my settings. I have a pretty good comp, so im pretty sure thats not the issue. Also, does any other 64 emulator work better, at least when specifically looking at multiplayer support? Thank you in advance, sorry if I am unclear.

hmm.... works fine for me...
Here is what the problems could be: video 1. bad ROM 2. bad settings 3.bad video plugin
and for the controls 1. bad ROM 2. bad settings 3. bad controller plugin
I would personally recommend Nemu64 or Mupen64Plus.....

I have an idea. Go to Options and click on Settings. Now go to the Options tab, then uncheck Hide Advanced Settings. Now exit the Options window. Then click on Options, then click Configure RSP Plugin. Now make sure that send Audio Lists to Audio Plugin is unchecked, and that send Display Lists to Graphics Plugin is checked. Now look under those settings, and make sure that CPU core style is set to Recompiler. Now this should make the gameplay a lot less laggy.
