AppName: objn64.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll ModVer: 7.0.2600.5512 Offset: 0003c1ad

Do you even know what it does? How are you using it? You do realize that this program produces C code, not binary display lists, right?

Well first I make a batch file that starts the app and pauses it so I can read what it can do..... I tested it with the option -f (open file) objn64 -f Katana.obj I also tried combining the rest of the options in various different ways... it crashes anyway :/

I think you need to include the extension for objn64 (most likely .exe), and it looks like that switch (-f) means you want to open Katana.obj with that program, but I don't think that's what you're trying to do. Look up some documentation on it if you can find it, and see if you can find out how it accepts arguments. Incidentally, I think you said you're trying to create F3DEX2 display lists--if so, I believe spinout said this program puts out raw C code, which won't help you much. If you're interested in just creating a display list, I'd recommend spinout's wotf ( wavefront object to F3DEX2) script. You can find it on his website in the programming section, if I'm not mistaken. I believe it's also included in his obj2area package.

Yes but I have no idea on how to use wotf So I googled... this was the best match and I ran it with a batch file structured like this: objn64 pause that paused it so I could read what it does -f is "open file" then the batch file I shown earlier

If you want to make a new item/model or just plain want the display list, just use wotf.py (it IS included with Obj2Area) and then follow the guide that Salvage has linked you to.
