I am thinking about replacing the Biggoron sword for young link (upsidedown master sword, when it is pulled out of pedastal) with adult link's birggoron sword.
Will that work?
I am currently using a mod called ''young link can hold the master sword''. It replaces the the model of the upsidown master sword with a custom model. The custom model looks a bit like the master sword but is stretched out to fit the biggoron length.
Problem is that the model has weird see through lines on it and is off centered to the slash glow.. I would rathr have the biggoron sword.

Yes, using a display list swap, it can be done. However, you should note that the upside down Master Sword is the one that Link pulls out of the pedestal, so if you ever do that, he'll grab the sword, then immediately stab himself in the face and travel through time (sounds awesome, but looks weird in practice). There's also the factor of enabling it on the menu so you can actually select and equip it, versus having to force it to be equipped with a GameShark code. That, too, can be done via a simple hex edit. Tutorials for both of these procedures should be on this forum.

so if you ever do that, he'll grab the sword, then immediately stab himself in the face and travel through time Made me laugh so much, this is going in my signature. The same effect should be achieved with an edit to animations, idle animation face stab anyone? |

Pff. The mod I have is almost perfect, 'cept the fact that it ALMOST stabs him in the face. It won't nearly though. |
