Hoy
I've posted earlier about codes to remove it and worked so far, but I've come to a part where I wanna remove the music from cut-scenes etc. And I'm not so sure if its possible as I don't have much insight to "rom hacking."
I've read some about this "n64 sequencer" or something allowing custom or midi to be converted and imported into the roms.
Now I'm wondering if my concept is at all possible with this, to perhaps import blanc sequences into the rom to strip the music away permanently.
Please bear with this noob as I'm trying my best.
Cheers Xav~
EDIT::: Perhaps move this to *HELP* as I'm to incompetent to notice in the first place.

Importing blank sequences would waste space and probably wouldn't work anyway. I think you can use music value 00 for no music. If you need to change the music in a cutscene it will either be somewhere in the scene file (use a hex editor) or it may be controlled by an actor (boss music does this).

Ah I see, well the idea was worth a shot. I'm going for the cutscenes and thats a bit too advanced to me, I have no clue where to start or which values to start looking for. I'll have to find other methods of achieving my goals.
Thanks anyways...

Where is the music value located at for Majora's Mask?

It's in the scene file header. You'll see: 15 xx 0000 0000 yy zz
xx = reverb, yy = playing options (whether the music plays all the time or only in the day, etc.), zz = sequence number to use.
