Ok, so ive had nOVL for a few weeks already and the entire time ive been trying to get it run using the win32.exe version of it but all i keep coming up with is a whole bunch missing DLL file errors!!! So i hunt down these DLL's and put them in my "systems" folder if they can't register using the "regsvr32 *.dll" command in the "system32" folder. So ive been getting past multiple DLL errors by finding the missing DLL's and i finally come across "iconv.dll" and my computer won't accept it and i need it to run nOVL! Any ideas or can anybody give me a download that has all the necessary files?
Im on Windows Vista x86 btw but i have a Windows XP in my room. Do i need a different OS (partitioning my hard drive always confuses the crap out of me)?

...Why would you associate partitioning your hard drive with getting a new OS? I find it perfectly fine to have a dual-boot system on a single partition HD. Besides, that would involve formatting the drive, which means completely wiping it. Just get a dual-boot of either Windows XP or Ubuntu 10.4 in your Vista system. Vista hates hackers and does everything it can to make things harder.

Please don't double post. As far as I know it's possible to get it to work on Windows but it's apparently a huge pain to get set up correctly. I don't think there's much point in you installing Linux just to hack Zelda unless you don't really use your computer for anything else or if you actually wanted to have Linux installed anyway. If you've already installed Linux then you should be able to get it to work. If it still doesn't work then contact someone who has used it before.
