how to set an image on "fire" Sept 12, 2009 18:47:32 GMT -5 Quote Select PostDeselect PostLink to PostMemberGive GiftBack to Top Post by bobbotheclown on Sept 12, 2009 18:47:32 GMT -5 i was recently messing with photoshop and i figured how to create an effect similar to this:to do this effect you need adobe imageready, or photoshop cs2, cs3, or cs4.1. you want to find a picture of fire you'll want to put over you image.2. open you're image in photoshop or imageready.3. copy and paste the fire into your image.4. there should be 2 layers now, you're image should be in layer 1, the fire should be in layer 2.4. set the fire layer to "linear dodge" or in cs4 it's "linear dodge(add)"5. this step is optional, press ctrl+T the right click the fire and you will see "warp" in the right click menu.6. another optional step, to change the colour of the fire click ctrl+U, and edit the hue/saturation/lighting.i discovered the fire last night.I made a sig for my father also, this took an hour to choose a good font.
