Vinny, you probably want to use Rice's video plugin to render graphics. Jabo's Direct V 1.6 seems to have problems with it, but Jabo's Direct V 1.5.2 will work as well if you can't get Rice's to work. If when you say the walls/ceiling/whatever are all white or black, and you've changed plugins and it's still not working, then your graphics card is probably messing something up, and there's not much you can do there. As for the map select screen, there's a patch (I think) to get it set in English, but I have not found it, so you're on your own there. The best place I can recommend to find it would be here. |

Ok, your first problem is either your ROM or your plugin. For your second problem, that means you don't have the Debug ROM. So you need to get the Debug ROM (Actual Debug ROM) and then you will be able to see the names of the maps. And you're not supposed to double post. Youtube u repeat the text again  From the Dont double post u also did it with me at funny video's thread maybe its nice not to do? But your advice is certainly very good ;D |

There's already enough tutorials for doing hex editing here to get you started, but using a map editor like UoT or ZLE it's just common sense. If you can't figure out how to use those, you won't have a clue about most hacking. The only way to learn is to do it yourself.
