Issues with Hex Editor and ZTE

I couldnt get ZTE to work because I kept getting a VBRUN300.dll error.

so I looked around on the forums to hear about hex editor can change text I then go to change the text and what do I find?
I can change the test but then the game wont load up.I made a savestate before I edited I loaded the black screen up to zoras domain (where I pressed F5) I talked to the zora to see If I edited his text in specific it worked ,but then I couldnt save or go anywhere else. so what is my problem with hex editor?

why have you posted this in beta? i just use XVI32 its much easier AND never press backspace it fucks up the rom

Or delete. If you want to get rid of text block it out with spaces. I think for ZTE you need to have a setup file or something too, says in the readme that you can just copy the one from the ZLE folder, try that.

I did copy it rom the ZTE folder. the installer right? I installed it but it didnt say much of what to do to lauch in ill try XVI32
