okay heres the lowdown
in the debug rom there are the two A+C rooms so why dont they work for the original
(Theory 1) because the Ura Zelda may of had some of the 64DD A+C data left and they were fully working in the debug version or they could of been there to test textures animations and more
Whats Your Theory?

nintendo never worked on a debug version, it was made by one or a group of hackers who dumped the game and made it playable. the only reason the beta rooms are in there is because nintendo forgot to delete the room data, one room was for testing links movements, another for sounds and various interactivity, and one for speed of falling objects. the beta levels like these had to stay in the game just in case nintendo needed to add or modify it. the beta levels that are like the church and the other place were always for seen by nintendo.... they forgot the rooms were there! so never deleted it. but those rooms were used in Alpha testing and previews.
and why they dont work is because theres no exits to get to there. plus they were incripted into the original 1.0. the hackers who edited it uncripted and made it playable

One, the Debug ROM was created by Nintendo, of course it would be, it was the first version of the game, ever.No "hackers" magically got it, or "decrypt it" which makes no sense, because decrypting has nothing to do with ROMS, it was always there to begin with. Nintendo just never bothered to release it to the public because of its flaws, but if people wanted it, they were allowed to have it. And they didn't "forget" the rooms in there, they left them there so that the game was playable. Without that, there would be no baseline for creating maps, movements, 3-D models and scenes. Basically, if the rooms weren't there, there would be no game, since they didn't know where all of the commands are. And maps aren't just maps, they contain movements scripts, lighting, models. Everything.

erebus, you are right. The rooms are mostly for testing. Say Bamboo Test for example was for testing some actors but was mostly for terrain. Other then that, your right about everything you said, erebus.

And you can't really "hack" into Nintendo, Since back then there was no "flowing" internet, the Debug ROM was simply the first cartridge ever made for the N64, but never released.

but that still doesnt make sense, it had to be Cracked some how, nintendo would never sell the Debug rom. the Term Debug it Self means someone Debugged it. but it is Posible that People did do it! they got there hands on the Japanese 1.0 which was THE VERY first version of the Game. and un compressed the rom or something, and then just Recoupled it after searching through everything. because notice how its 63MB, its not compressed like OoT 1.0 normal.

There was no computers back then that could do what you're talking about.
