I found some codes on Zelda's Secret Ocarina, and after some tinkering around I figured out how to modify the color of Link's Sword Swipe!
Edit: Nifty Transparency codes! The higher the value, the less transparent the color tip becomes. If you set all four transparency values to 00, the sword swipe won't be visible.

Just fill in the ?? with the proper hex color codes. If you don't understand the RGB color model, you could figure out what color you want in Microsoft Paint, and then convert it into Hex with Microsoft Calculator....
With Paint...
Just click Color -> Edit Colors -> the Define Custom Colors button
Once you find your color, to convert the color number to hex...
Open Microsoft Calculator...
Click View -> Scientific (make sure the DEC bubble is still checked) -> Type in your value -> Hit Equal -> Click the Hex Bubble
You can see exactly what the fade Colors do in this pic
In this one, my values are...
--- Outer Tip --- --- Inner Tip ---
00 RED ............... FF RED
FF GREEN ........... FF GREEN
00 BLUE ............. 00 BLUE
--- Fade, Outer Tip ---
00 RED
00 GREEN
FF BLUE
Same as the other one, but with all Transparency values at FF
--- Fade, Inner Tip ---
