Yeah I gotta agree with him, plugins tend to slow down the browser, and in reality itsfaster to type in google, then type in what you're looking for, then typing it into a low moving plugin

hum... last time i checked my faster fox makes it run faster. Maybe for you, if you have around a GB or 2 of RAM, but for people who don't, they need something that's fast. And that they don't have that much RAM to use.

well it also depends on what you use, i use firefox cause it is more reliable and faster than IE and a standard top right search engine. its the best iv found oh and tabs. www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/check it out for your self but i do have incredibly fast internet (52 MBS with Wi-Fi and 100 with land) so yeah you do have a good point.
