Anyone think they can make a soundfont for resident evil 2? the ps version uses PSFs and VABs when converted with VGTrans, but what I'm trying to do is organize and lable them into an actual soundfont with a drumkit, like how mario sunshine is, I have all the VABs from resident evil 1-3 AND survivor but what I need is mainly RE2.

Although it's quite dead here, this thread is still gaining traffic I see, so I'll go ahead and do a check up on which soundfont links are dead and which ones are not: Obviously Aero Fighters Assault is still down, so I'm going to remove the link for that if anyone doesn't mind? Unless someone can provide a new one which would be much appreciated! Seems as though the download link for the Perfect Dark soundfont is also dead unfortunately but has been replaced as of now with a new one I've found consisting of sounds from that game and many more. All other links are working accordingly but if any more become down please leave a comment here and let me know! Take care for now everyone.  |

if you check pollyphone's soundfont repository, there is a universal genesis soundfont (not to be confused with genesi sf) which is more complete than that one and has some of the gs drumkits as well. there's also a sponge bob ps1 soundfont by Tohutoa and a wario land 4 soundfont.

btw, I'd also like a mario party soundfont. the n64 trilogy, advance and ds should be easiest, and in fact the ds one has it's own soundfont.

Since this thread hasn't been updated in months where did you all go? Raptured? If so can I go with please? Anyways where is the Universal Rareware soundfont that's been bragged about so much on here? Did it get abandoned when the 'rapture' happened?

Hello! I am new here, seriously looking, unlucky still, for a particular SoundFont. The game title is Shadowrun Returns. I loved the Perfect Dark one... Well, whatever, blow me a whistle, I need this font urgently.

Hello. I'm new to this forum, so here is a list of soundfonts i'm interested to use, although some of them are hard to find, or rip from the game ROMs. Some games that have sequenced music can have their instuments ripped from their ROMS, while others don't, as some games use streamed audio.
The instuments have to be ripped from the games first before making a soundfont, and depending on the game, the process will be easy, or tough. For Nintendo DS games, they are easy to rip, as you can use a program or tool like ndssndext_v04 to extract the instuments, then you'll need to figure out the right parameters for the instuments (or presets) that you've got.
The games' soundfonts that i'm looking for are:
