Actually each grid square on Wind Waker is a separate map iirc.

IvanX, you know RL is a terrible game. The graphics are blurry and the AI is stupid.

How are OoT & MM Open world? They don't have overworlds, they have levels/maps, that are restricted by walls. Wind Waker has an overworld, The Great Sea, and you can seal wherever you want without it having to load different areas. That's why it's open world. So by my definition, TP isn't open world either. U mad? OoT has the Lost Woods and Gerudo Desert and MM has the Great Bay Ocean. Those both have no visible end and are barricaded. Besides that, there's nothing special about an open world full of nothing. Either way, WW didn't innovate anything.

Either way, WW didn't innovate anything. Not true, it was the first game in the series in which the Iron Boots were an item that isn't clothing. This ended up being re-used in Twilight Princess and then again in Ocarina of Time 3D which shaved off about 5 minutes of the Water Temple for me. Therefore, Wind Waker is my homie.

Also WW loses points for not being able to swim much, a game revolving around water where you drown almost instantly? Sheeeeeeeeet

People be hatin' on Wind Waker and even calling it an eye sore. Am I in hell? we don't hate wind waker. we just think it was the inbred love child of zelda and the gamecube that had 11 toes.

Wind Waker was pretty fun, I don't know why so many people hate it. Maybe the cel-shading was shit but so what? The art style alone shouldn't ruin a game.

People used to like games that were pixels that barely represented what they were supposed to be and noises for music. Now people be bitchin' about cel-shaded graphics.

I'm not dissing cel shading. it looks nice. but boats are retarded, they brought back tingle, made him look like an asian child, rather than a 30 year old man, and decided to give every character gargantuan over sized heads.
Setting every single other zelda place takes place in> obviously some place in europe.
Setting WW appears to take place in> the phillipines.
and to top it off. it ruined the semi mature franchise by making it juvenile.
in ocarina of time, there is literally blood splattered on some of the walls in the bottom of the well.

Cel shading is an art style though, one that I can't stand. But you played TF2 with bobbo and myself. IvanX: 1 andrweaswees: 0
