augmented reality is 3d models into a real battlefield...
meaning that you are real and the environment is real. but the enemies aren't. but augmented reality is there to create the illusion that it's real.
i admit. tasers are a totally bad idea. maybe a lesser shock.

true. but a electric shock would be painful and (provided you don't have significant health problems) not kill you.

true. but a electric shock would be painful and (provided you don't have significant health problems) not kill you. The problem with that is that not every knows whether or not they have significant health problems, and it is possible to kill a perfectly healthy and normal person with a taser.

true. alright, back on wii u.
probably wouldn't buy it until it's got softmods. really don't like nintendo's more recent stuff. and the censorship is totally gay.
ps4(still on topic in my opinion) might get it. but chances are there won't be any good games.
Xbox720, most likely won't get it. don't understand the monthly fee thing. it's as pointless as tollbooths. not to mention i hate how the things are marketed.
The rumored steam console, if they do make it. i plan to get it.

windows 8 can only install stuff from it's software center No it doesnt. I have windows 8 on my pc, and I can install anything just like I always have. The did add (yet another) 'ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY SUPER DUPER CROSS YOUR HEART AND HOPE TO DIE, STICK A NEEDLE IN YOUR EYE SURE THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY WANT TO RUN THIS PROGRAM ZMOGMLOLOLOLOL' UAC popup though. But on topic anyway, I don't like any of these new consoles either except the PS Vita, only because its very close to being able to be softmodded and I'm already familiar with programming for the psp. I don't plan on getting a Wii U anytime soon. They'd have to make a reaaally good Zelda game for me to even consider it.

ok.. wait what? You just derailed a derailed thread back towards it's original destination? YOU'RE A GENIOUS. Now, I'm quietly leaving this thread since I will just keep derailing it otherwise. Too late, you just derailed it onto the topic that you were leaving the topic. I shall now derail a derailed-derailed-derailed topic. I think Wii U's are stupid. The controller is clunky and the only purpose of putting a screen on it is to effectively give more people astigmatism than the NDS/DSi/3DS does combined and force people into paying an additional $175 because most people aren't going to be interested in playing single-player games alone. Additionally, the processor is just a Broadway on caffeine, which in turn is just a Gekko after tap-dancing lessons. The only real 'improvement' over the Wii is the addition of ram which couldn't have been more disorganized if someone just scotch-taped a bunch of ram chips to it. It has shitty launch titles and shitty motion controls. I would sooner play with my feces than play with one. Which reverts back to my previous statement that I (being the huge Zelda fan that I am) wouldn't be caught dead playing one unless they made a truly epic Zelda game for it.

I disagree, the gamepad is quite light and I found it to be pretty good for what I was playing. Other than that I agree, no great launch titles, any multiplayer game is useless on the Wii U seeing as everyone else I know has a PS3, that alone will keep me buying PS3 games. I'll be buying Pikmin 3 when it comes out, just because I'm a sucker like that.

I saw some gameplay comparison pictures of the WiiU and the PS3.
The textures in a few games were a bit sharper and I could actually see a noticeable difference in the anti-aliasing. The edges were much smoother and were filled with more polygons.
