what's this wireframe website? is it like a repository for models ripped from games, an HTML5 3d wireframe viewer, or what? It sounds interesting.

WireCube.x10.mx Programming/3D graphics related website. Though tricksta your account was accidentally removed (SORRY!) (I needed to quickly purge users due to spamming and/or being extremely ianctive (0 posts not logged in for months) also, currently working on a 3D in browser model+texture viewer You could just use VRML. (though I'm not sure which browser's support it)

You could just use VRML. (though I'm not sure which browser's support it) ok. first let's answer bobbo. For anything, aka just for fun (Well, also to figure out how NaCL works (Google native client addon for chrome) that is also why I won't use VRML, I want to figure it our muhself Before HTML5 came out, I created a script called a gamebox that supported orthographic 3d projection (found the topic here, but no pics and the files can't be downloaded because they were put on megaupload ). If all you're wanting to do is render a mesh, and don't mind using orthographic projection, then the equation is pretty simple: x = x + zstep*z y = y + zstep*z For zstep, I usually use .2, basically, it's just a slope value to flatten the depth of the Z axis. In order to view the object at a different angle, you just rotate the object's vertices with some math: Rotating on X-axis (up or down) y = y*cos(rot)-z*sin(rot) z = y*sin(rot)+z*cos(rot) Rotating on Y-axis (left or right) z = z*cos(rot)-x*sin(rot) x = z*sin(rot)+x*cos(rot) Rotating on Z-axis (tilt side to side) x = x*cos(rot)-y*sin(rot) y = x*sin(rot)+y*cos(rot) All rotation values are in radians, not degrees. To convert degrees to radians, multiply by pi/180.

I want to make something more like blender, compile it to native code and run it through a browser. (from scratch btw) Well its not possible to run binary code from a browser (unless you're using Windows ActiveX controls). And Blender's kinda big, it was made by pro's working for major movie making companies and bought by user contributions where it's been maintained by the community for 5-10 years now. Unless you're just meaning to make a 3d modeler (which is still going to be rather difficult to do in a browser). I'd suggest writing it in Java, otherwise you'll never get a good enough frame-rate. Also, if you need help writing a .blend file loader, I'm your guy.
