Sorry, don't mean to bump an old thread but the link is dead in the first post and I was curious if anyone actually seen if the patched actually worked? Also what needed to be fixed to cause the water/fountains to work properly? See the attached file to this reply. I'm about 99% sure it's the same download. I actually didn't see your post til just now when I went to post my own version I did that fixes it fully and puts it back ingame! Patch included in the video description! You can check out the video here:

I don't see any differences. (or is this just a bugfix for the debug rom?)

well, in 125 you can climb them bawkzes, in the normal one you can't, also the water is animated in this one, the gfx are fixed and well there is now a transitiona ctor so you can go to zeldas courtyard. amongst other fixes, those are the main ones. I was meaning between the beta courtyard and the released one. They look identical to me.

Probably would've noticed that if not for the fact that 95% of the vid wasn't near either of those changes. A rather pointless mod though unless you're doing a strict full-game beta restoration (speaking of which, is that even still being worked on? I looked forward to that for a long time...)

It was a bit of a long-winded video and it didn't specifically say what's actually different, that's true. He did show off those changed boxes, but... yeah. I wouldn't say it's pointless, tho, seeing how it's a fix for an area that's broken in the build we've got, and that's different from the final (even if just boxes and a window).

Fixing something that was broken is never pointless

Unless fixing it would be more expensive (in time or money or whatever) than getting a replacement... if a replacement exists

That was my point, more something for me to do for fun and to see how far I've come in hacking from my first attempt back when I was still at ZSO. Though the interesting thing is that the boxes to barrels must of been a -very- late change ingame as the final courtyard has the boxes collision instead of barrels.

Oh, so its not just a mod, it's a fix. Nevermind then. I've never been to the courtyard in the debug rom, I just assumed it worked and this was a simple beta restoration mod. Nice work
