I will give you all the savestate when I get home and just add a few final touches to the forset. ;D Edit: wait a little longer, more troubles. Editing just the collision mesh. Heh. For those of you chewing your fingers off with anticipation, Kokiri Forest savestate coming in a few minutes, just need to relocate one of the fences (could take a few minutes cause it's not an actor, but landscaping is fun!). Edit: Just giving it a test. Also savestate will come before textures, cause I still need to do quite a few, I might not even give any textures at all... We'll see how it goes. It's here... DOWNLOAD SAVESTATE90% done, just need to do textures and Saria's text. ;D Remeber to tell me any stuff wrong with it. No textures included in the savestate, I'll maybe just make savestates of some areas as I go along, and release textures with beta patches, and at the end of course, I'll release the entire patch and all textures, so each time I add more textures you'll probably have to delete old ones because I cannot be bothered to remember which ones I have and haven't given you. -Starting tomorrow- Hyrule field landscape, actors and textures.

:]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]] edit: you can get out of the forest REALLY quick... without having to use the whole bridge thing. you push up against that wall/thing in your way of getting out and do a roll. it let me just pass right thru it. just thought id point that out. besides that, looks great!!

I think you should add some enemies to make it harder (not only Skultulas at places where it was orginaly doors). A few Deku-babas is all i ask for, just to make it more awesome. But great work anywyas

Ok, I'll try putting a few more enemies, but remember you won't have a sword at the start so nothing too big.
@ snotskie: found that earlier, edited it and it should be fine now, there wasn't enough collision data there to stop you getting through.
Glad you people liked it, just wait 'till you see it with the textures! ;D

Like it? Yes I do, It looks very promising! You edited the sword, I could never get that to work [mainly cause I dont use UOT], so how do you get it to load w/o crashing the rom?

Well, you have to put in the right offset, but the version on UoT I have does it automatically. Also, problems. I don't know what happened, but I did something wrong, and I keep backups of all the files I edit, but when I opened the backup one, it was the same as the one I just edited! So now I have to do whatever I can to put this right and it's not easy... Nooooooooooooo *panic* it's just getting worse............................................. Fixed, but the jump is too far, I'll have to add another platform, and the match graphics to collision function isn't working... Taking a little time out to sort out the story like where you go and when, I'll start on this again in a while, if the graphics to collision still won't work, I'll just do it myself. Update: Won't get onto Hyrule Field today, due to the usual fiasco of stuff going wrong. BUT It's the weekend in a few days and I'm going to try to do up to the first dungeon then. ;D Done. But it seems this game will stop me at every turn. Exit has disappeared. UPDATE! By pure luck I managed to recover the exit, so, in the words of Starfox... Kokiri Forest MISSION COMPLETETextures remain, I'll get round to those when I have time, but the map is completely done which is the main part. I'm now relieved and happy. ;D Not sure how much can be done tomorrow, it's the presentation evening where I get my exam certificates so yeah... I'll try to do some though. Wow, almost forgot... SAVESTATE OF FINISHED FOREST!Enjoy and remember to report anything wrong with it. ;D

Good job, but glad you are gonna MOD the whole game, since Kokiri Forest takes 30 seconds to finish lol
Keep up the good work!

Make sure it's the Debug ROM you're using. Just load the ROM in pj64 and when the title screen appears, go system > load then select the savestate.

Well DeathBasket, you should look at Zelda's Birthday, it will either inspire you to achieve a great mod like that, or it will sink your hopes. Please let it inspire you. Please let it inspire you. Please let it inspire you.
