So yeah, I figured I might as well have a thread about SayakaGL here too, as not everyone here also frequents The GCN or Z64... Current release, v0.1.1 Public: magicstone.de/dzd/random/sayaka/SayakaGL_v011.rarFor a short summary, SayakaGL is a new level editor for OoT and MM I've been working on (on and off) for a few months now, aiming for it to become a replacement - maybe not 100% but close enough - for both my own and spinout's OZMAV2, as well as cooliscool's aging UoT. It's capable of editing room's Display Lists, the placement and data (number/variable) of room actors, Link's spawn points and transition actors, scene and room headers and more in both games, the renderer is - while not perfect - very accurate for OoT (not so much for MM as it's a bit more picky, to put it that way), and so on. It is not yet capable of being used with custom maps, as they aren't yet being imported correctly (DMA table isn't being changed, etc, which Sayaka relies on), and is also still missing some other features that UoT or OZMAV2 have. All that said, here's the most recent WIP screenshot, mainly showing off the WIP room header editor and some GUI changes (only noticable if you've used the program before):

Holy crap,a new Zelda editor? That's NICE. I really need to work on getting the word out, huh? Yeah, as mentioned in the first post, it's a new editor for OoT and MM, in the works since January 31st. Can SayakaGL change object data yet, cause the beta version I have can't. "Object data" as in which objects are loaded in each room? If so, the next version will be capable of that. It's already visible in the WIP screenshot above even - double-click the entry you want to change in the list, type in the new object number and off you go

I'm having a problem with this tool, It can't identify my debug rom I had this problem, but it's real easy to fix. Just open your Debug ROM in a hex editor & at the start of the ROM, change THE LEGEND OF DEBUG to THE LEGEND OF ZELDA & change CZLE to NZLE, and it'll work perfectly. (note, these changes wont effect the ROM in any way than fix this) Thanks to xdaniel himself for this solution!

Having another problem with this tool my textures are fucked up when i use it to open a map. I'm pretty late in replying, but anyway... How exactly are the textures fucked up? A screenshot might help, or at least a better description than "fucked up", and if it's a bug in SayakaGL, I can try to fix it. Also, as posted at The GCN, my little kinda "todo list" for the program:

When i start the program all the textures are black. You sure you have v0.1.1 of the program? That had fixed certain rendering errors and similar problems for some people at The GCN, including textures appearing all black. If you already have that version, make sure that the "Enable Combiner" option in the "Options" menu is -not- checked. Emulation of the N64's color combiner (responsible for multi-texturing, many coloring and transparency effects, etc) relies on OpenGL features that some graphic chipsets, like many by Intel, don't properly support, which results in either those effects being missing, or graphic glitches like broken textures and such.
