The link doesn't work quite right, here's a working copy: www.mediafire.com/?o97cf6fsr7r3wtaThis is pretty good, I love it a lot more than the crap that was in the final game. I hated those JPG overlays. >=[

yeah i like the beta map. you can actually explore places. Yes! I mean going around in a circle in the final game, that was kinda boring. It would've been nice to make it harder to actually get to the castle too.

This is TBT's work. I have a newer version of this map (Forbidden Legends "fixed" it up) and more.... Unfortunately, alphaheiti, it was my understanding that Flotonic and other members of TBT and Forbidden Legends did not not want their maps and/or work redistributed. Flotonic may get after this...

the middle ages not the knight time... the final game takes place wayyyy before that however, i think the beggining of greece is a more likely era for it to take place. but the structures seem to modern... confusing.

With OoT's final graphics & some actors it would look awesome!

With OoT's final graphics & some actors it would look awesome! Yup, it sure would. Can't say I'm much a fan of the textures used. I guess they call it beta for a reason; I would be more interested in seeing interpretations on the beta "ghost town" seen back when Aria was still present. That texture mapping error seen near the end of the video is a fault of SketchUp, not the importer (assuming you're using that program, if not, ignore the rest of this post). SketchUp's object MTL export process can be buggy at times, leading to distortions such as that. That often happens when the mapping is excessively small compared to the size of the polygon. Aside from increasing the map size, there isn't much that can be done.
