I mean, a code that changes what Link's name is and saves it. I swear this would already have been made before, but Google just won't find me it. I guess I could find it myself, either in RAM or save file, but I'm not too confident in that.
Has anyone seen that code, or am l on my own?

Thanks, I think I can make due with that. I imagine it'd be a permanent change if the right name value is...changed... Wait, it doesn't change ingame normally, so it wouldn't look for it to save it... Oh, phooie! Well, I can at least leave the code on and hope it doesn't move in memory.
Well great, apparently it doesn't exist with those values in OoT. Both Nemu64 and Cheater64 come up with nothing when l search the beginning four letters' values. I even tried seeing if they were flipped bytes, but that gave nothing, as well. The only thing that possibly gave me a single result was Renegade64, but that crashes with a "Read Process Memory" when l try to go in the Memory Editor.

That's odd, I'll have to have a look to see if I can find it at some point.
