Okay so here is the problem. I bought a new laser for my Ps2 and everything worked perfectly. I have it installed right and everything. The problem is that the disc is not fitting right. I know with the old Ps1 you could just pop it off and switch it with some other one without having much trouble at all. Is there any way to fix this? I took my Ps2 apart to find out. The disc is not fitting right at all. I would spin the disc and it wouldn't spin flat like it is supposed to. The disc was spinning crooked. This is a brand new part. I shouldn't have to replace it.

the warranty of the part should cover it, unless you installed the part wrong, have you made sure that the part isn't installed even a little crooked?

On the little thing you put the disc on in the ps2 it is not clamping onto it. You know when you put the disc in it clicks and it holds onto the disc so it spins right. It is not clamping right so the disc spins crooked. But I think I have it fixed. For now I hope.
