Hi
want to make an ips patch? Well this is the tutorial for you.
lunar Ips; a patching program that is n00b friendly.

a rom that is modified.
a rom that is not modified.
Step 1
Start up Lunar IPS.
Step 2
click on create IPS patch.
Step 3
it should look like this
search for the unmodified rom and select it (if you cant find switch it to all files)
Step 4
it should bring you up to this.
just select the rom that has been modified.
Step 5
save the ips patch where you want it.
and your done! |

really. didnt know that but it cant patch modern warfare 2 patches for like challenge lobbys and such so HA! it cant patch anything

Have you actually done this with a OoT ROM? Perhaps IPS has been updated since I last used it, but last I checked it has a size limit and OoT is quite a ways over it.

it does make sense and my anti virus says that ppf studio has a trojan or something like that so im not taking the risk.

Lunar IPS is safe.
Just it is supposed to be bundled with super mario world editors.
WHICH DON'T LET YOU UNINSTALL THEM. Lol

Never heard of PPF studio...
I use PPF - O - Matic for PPF files.
Why don't you try this?

chaojimbo, PPF Studio is the program that allows you to create patches. PPF-o-Matic is a separate utility that's only good for patching ROMs and ISOs. Just got done uploading my copy of PPF Studio 1.01b. Tested many times, naturally; if you're getting a virus or trojan alert, it's a false positive. Snag it here. |
