How about you get the sounds and pitches for the instruments and plug them into modplug tracker or fruity loops?

hehehe. that was actually of topic... but still on topic somehow... tho I will not tell you what >=) Obviously you want us to keep asking, "oh plz tell me more I'm dieing to find out lololol" etc, otherwise you would only put one vague post up about it at the most then bring it out like a punch in the face. For example, snotskie's first post here was actually about a text editor he made, and he posted it straight away. Now he is a Global Moderator, go figure. Go away DeathBasket we are not going over your history as a shouldoor.

Well the truth is I do not wanna tell you guys because I haven't really decided yet if I'm going to do it or not... a clue It is modding oriented.

You're modding your real life to suit that of a badass? I've already done that 5 times this week.
But I have a hunch that it has to do with music, a program or a feature on that emulator that you are building that allows you to preset keystrokes in order to play songs on the various musical instruments on Majora's Mask? Yeah, nah.

punk made a soundfont of OoT's instruments but unfortunately it doesn't have the same instruments as MM.
The best way to do this is clearly to just write a custom sequence and insert it into the game using an instrument set that contains the different instruments you can use as Link (if that's what you're trying to do), or just using the guitar instrument. You should remember though that Zelda's instruments do not always sound good with imported music because of the way samples are played; they have a constant volume so you need to add a load of volume changing commands that aren't supported by any of the current music converters to make them sound more natural, and that's a pain to do. Support for that may be added if I ever have time to finish working on my music converter.

Has anyone tried using the zora guitar to play actual music? clrly. Just playing it as your instrument in the game is too limited for this.
