What's everyone watching this season (or generally watching)? I'm currently watching: Akame ga Kill! This show starts off with a lot of potential. I hope it stays that way because so far its going in completely the right direction. Definitely the most hyped this season. Aldnoah.Zero Another work by none other than Gen Urobuchi. The only show I've watched and didn't like of his was Suisei no Gargantia. Lots of hope for this show. Glasslip Another anime original by P.A Works. Seems like slice of life with a touch of supernatural. I love P.A Work's character designs and backgrounds. Sabagebu! A funny slice of life show. I don't normally watch such shows but this so far seems to be a exception. Tokyo Ghoul A Horror/Mystery/Supernatural/Psychological. Count me in. This show has lots of potential also. Great first episode. Past stuff I'm watching currently: Dog DaysHunter x Hunter (2011)Kurokami The Animation

I'm only watching Hunter X Hunter (2011) right now. Actually I just finished watching the most recent episode not even an hour ago. I tend to only watch one anime at a time. [I get sidetracked a lot.]
Although I'm debating to go and watch Pokemon too at times when I've got nothing else I feel like doing, since the 5th gen it looks like they've made it actually decent (at least?) because I've heard they finally added this wonderful thing called a plot to the show! However I don't want to skip through the 400 some episodes before all that because it wouldn't feel right to me. Not sure if I should start where I left off last or just skip to the so called "good stuff".

Ah cool. Another HxH viewer! I don't know about you but I love the show so much. Can't wait to see what this next arc holds! I generally don't watch so many shows at once. If they are currently airing I don't mind as much since its a week wait before the next episode.
No way. Pokemon having plot? Man I haven't watched a episode of that since 2001ish.

I read the manga so I know what happens (I couldn't wait... ; o;). I wouldn't suggest reading it though if you're watching the anime. The anime is doing the story a lot more justice. I'll let you know though that the anime is so far very accurate to that of the manga. In fact, if going by memory, it's been absolutely spot on so far and it looks like it's going to follow the manga this arc as well. So, knowing what happens and knowing how well the anime is doing the story justice, I'd definitely recommend just waiting for the episodes. Not that the manga was bad or anything, I enjoyed it a lot; even reading it through from the beginning again, just that doing one while doing the other was an idea I kind of regret doing now because there's no 'shock' factor anymore in the plot that the anime does better than the manga in my opinion (Pictures and text can only do so well). Also yes, Pokemon apparently has a plot now. Each season finale is apparently like a mini version of the movies (which I also haven't watched since the 4th one) from what I've heard. I spoiled myself (potentially) and took a look at one of them, not sure if it was the first season finale or the second since they "rebirthed" the show but that episode alone is what's making me want to watch it again in the first place. I'm not sure if they went back to the old ways or not yet though, that episode was at least half a year or so ago since I seen it and it seems almost "too good to be true!" in my opinion. I just don't have much else to watch during HxH downtime between episodes.

Yeah. I've been tempted to read the manga but then realized I don't get much out of reading manga. A novel is different and better suited for me.
I'd suggest watching or maybe reading a show/manga called Magi. It's another excellent Shounen in my opinion. Definitely in my top 5 Shounens. It should be quite a enjoyable ride (especially the second season) if you like HxH.

I actually made a Dungeons & Dragon character that was pretty influenced by Morgiana. I was giving that one time to catch up. I tend to like watching my anime a bit in bulk. Watch one anime a bit, then when that bulk of episodes is done, move onto another one. I should get back to watching it though. Maybe once I get bored of Pokemon (decided to watch from the last episode I've seen) which will probably not be that long at all. I'll give myself a week at best before I get tired of hearing "Team Rocket is blasting off againnnnnnn < Wobbufet>! *twinkle sound*"
