I'm having some trouble figuring out what I'm doing wrong. I've followed DeathBaskets tutorial and I still don't know what I'm doing wrong www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2LlIm6FV_cThe only thing I can think of is when he goes and edits the text from something like "inst 0 to "inst 5 pan 50" pan 80" this is where I get lost. I don't really know what those numbers are for so I put any number between 1-8 for inst and I usually stay around 80 on pan. When I try to load the rom it will say something like "rom is in constant loop. Emulation will now stop." I know other than what I've mentioned I got everything else right, unless the rom needs to be in a specific folder. Also how do I choose the area the music gets inserted into? Sorry I'm such a noob at this, I've only done as much as Text editing with the OOT Text editor. I've been planning on replacing most of the music with songs from other zelda titles where they seem appropriate. For example the OOT lost woods song would get replaced with a version of the one from A Link To The Past. The Hyrule market town's music will be replaced with the town music from The Adventure of link. I thought it would be one of the easiest ways of breathing new life into an old game, but this has been getting frustrating.

Did you fix the CRC checksum? code.google.com/p/gzrt/You can use this tool to do so but I can't remember the actual checksums used for this. You didn't mention whether you did this or not.

No I don't know anything about CRC checksum lol. I knew that in some cases that it needed to be fixed somehow. How do I find out what the checksums are to fix it? Edited* Ok I figured it out. It was pretty easy to use the GZRT I just used the checksum codes it provided on the left and applied it. Thanks man
