Everyone here is wrong. Wind Waker was a fantastic title that, despite the flawed triforce quest, was a masterpiece of it's own. I loved sailing in the great sea because everything about it contrasted with the hackey slashey puzzle aspect of the game. You were made to relax and enjoy the scenery whist keeping your goal in mind and that kind of pacing is lost in games now days. Now let me step back for a second and say that I liked Twilight Princess. The story was enjoyable, the character's memorable, and the character and enemy design was phenomenal. The game's pacing was nothing more than odd. You rarely ever had time to really enjoy the world you were in despite it being beautiful. Really, start up your copy of Twilight princess and just look at the world. That shit is pretty. Now what Wind Waker did was leave you alone in longs stretches of the sea with nothing but your mind. You're meant to appreciate the world you are in and reflect on what you as the player have done. It's time to let you digest your moblin slaying antics an that one boss you stabbed in the butt. This of course is only one aspect of Wind Waker that is executed flawlessly. Frankly I dnt want to sit here an explain why he game was good so. PWEZ STAP HATIN WIN WAKER And don't even get me started on why the art style is wonderful.

I don't like the cel-shading in TF2 either, why do you think I refrain from playing the game. I can stand TF2 though. WW gave me eye-cancer

lol. I love wind waker, was an epic game. I just hate how it changed the art direction of the entire series. the twilight princess graphics are still the best in my opinon, though they could've been better had they been just a tad bit brighter.

I would tell you all the art style is totally copied from one of my favorite shows. but the WW fangirls might get upset.

What are you talking about? The Zelda series has used multiple art styles.

Wind Waker is the best Zelda ever. Fact. Imo Oracle of Ages and Seasons are the best with their linked game abilities.

Damn, I was hoping for rage. I honestly consider Twilight Princess to be the best Zelda. (this may prove better results for my cause, however, as some people seem to hate TP a lot)

What are you talking about? The Zelda series has used multiple art styles. nahduh dude. but since WW was released, the art direction of the Zelda series has changed completely. It used to strive for realism, but every single Zelda game after WW has used the toony/celshaded artstyle, with the exception of TP only because the director promised fans a realistic Zelda installment before the end of the GC's lifetime. If you take TP out of the equation (which I would because WW was supposed to have realistic graphics like TP), we've had 9 toony/celshaded style Zelda games in a row. WW, MC, FS, FSA, PH, ST, SS, OoT3D, WW (HD) Actually, 10 if you count Tingle's Rupee Wonderland which was played in a sort of linked game with WW.
