Well, I guess it's the end of the line for me. One of our key players keeping Modshack alive and bringing back Maco decided to move on with his life, and it made me realize that Flotonic, Sanguinetti, and I were the only active members on the site.
No one is interested in learning to mod Zelda64 games, those who do know how are too busy, and even when something cool is done no one takes interest anymore. So, I'm tossing in the towel.
I deleted all my applications, patches, documentation, research, and source code. Among other things, I've terminated the SoD's Mods series, Hylian Cartographer, and z64dump2, and I'm brainstorming a new alias.
I've deleted every single one of my projects with the exception of the Storm game engine which I'll be focusing all my attention on. When finished I'll be looking for talented artists, composers, and writers, and with a team decided I'll be pursuing my dream of starting my own game development company.
Due to a little guilt on my part, I made a deal with Flotonic that as long as the community gains at least 1 new member each month I'll stay and help out in any way possible. If it fails, the above statement still applies.

Why give up on something you spent a lot of time on?
That's like me quitting music. I'll never stop making music since I love it. If its something you don't really like I can understand, but it seems like you're quite the programmer. So this is a quite odd to me.

Thanks for the support guys I just got hit really hard by Fiction deciding to leave for good. We hang out on Skype every single day, and casually him, SkullLink, and I can play Minecraft and have group conversations. It made me realize that we've made so little progress over the past few months despite all our efforts, and he was one of our major motivators. Anyway, with him gone, I'm assuming video editing responsibilities until we can find a replacement.

If it fails, the above statement still applies. I don't know about most people but I'm reluctant to join Maco because of everything that went on before (and stuff I won't go in to). I don't think it's really worth joining any other Zelda site anyway at the moment; nobody really cares so I'm not missing anything. By the way, the people who made the site do know that "macho" isn't a valid Latin pronunciation of that word, right?

The site is owned solely by Flotonic, who is also the only site admin, making him the only one capable of editing the site in any way. btw, that gets on my nerves I as well...I always pronounce it "make-oh"

"Mac-oh" I would say.
But still, regardless of the site's running and history, I don't think there's enough going on with N64 Zelda hacking to make it worthwhile joining any other sites now. Maybe things will pick up but at the moment I don't really have the time to fit much of this in to my life any more.

I only recently discovered some of your best work on youtube. My favorite one was the one where Saria follows you around through Kokiri Forest. (ps. I'm still waiting for your help getting started with creating new custom actors)

I know, it's a difficult subject to explain and I will get you an answer on it when I figure out how best to explain it.

A community mod would be cool, but will it blend?
In all seriousness idk if we'd have enough people to join.
