I believe that mml2m64 has a tool to "rip" sequences from OoT/MM

No tool can do this at the moment. I planned to make one but that depends on whether I ever get the time for it.

Would be interesting since many other Nintendo games use this format.

A few nintendo 64 games uses their own sequence and instrumentbank format. Being able to convert these to .mid and .dls files is a dream.

If its any help; you can convert most Playstation 1 and 2 sequence formats to midi and dls with VGMTrans. The latest version is hereThere is a VGMTrans that supports N64 sequences (mostly found in RareWare games. It doesn't work on Nintendo games) but I cannot seem to find that version. I've been adding games to SubDrag's N64 Midi Tool every now and then. You can find that here.I'll most likely add a thread about this in the HomeBrew/Utilities board later on. Hope this helps.

To punk7890™ Hello there
I've just registered at this board. I'm trying to find the VGMtrans version apparently supporting N64 rom format to export midi's.
Probably it's not working. But literally since years I aspire my dream to extract midi data from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter (the first one). The only thing I ever got is a short sequence from Level 5 'Catacombs' someone probably did by hand.
Do you have this version of VGMtrans? Does it even really exist? Are you capable of helping me? I can use every help thats possible. I also tried N64miditool. But it doesnt support Turok 1 (only T2, T3 and probably everything else)
Turok 1 got those really heavy drum grooves which make out basically all of the music, I'm sure those are sequenced just as the rest. It is a dream of mine to see those sequences once in my lifetime.
Thanks anyone Buddha
