So, I did 2 minor exit changes, as well as activated all tunics for young Link starting with a fresh ROM. That's it. And, I was gonna do some actor editing, but SayakaGL can't identify the ROM! Seriously, what's up with that? I tried with a fresh ROM and it worked, but I need to work for Hyrule's Dark Christmas this particular ROM. I ripped the offsets using ZRE in UoT, edited the exits on the zscenes in HxD, & inserted them back into the ROM using petrie911's automatic Debug ROM file injector, (not UoT's). That's every detail, can anyone diagnose the problem? Offtopic: wow, this post made me a Super Member!

SayakaGL identifies ROMs according to its internal title, game ID and version byte. For the MQ Debug ROM, they're "THE LEGEND OF ZELDA " - with trailing space, alternatively the "THE LEGEND OF DEBUG " title from the various fixed ROMs also works -, "NZLE" and 0x0F (15d).
If you have changed any of those, it will not recognize the ROM and you'll need to add your ROM to ZeldaVer.xml yourself. Say you're using the Debug ROM and you've changed the title to "THE HACKER OF LEGEND", you have to take the Debug ROM's data block from ZeldaVer.xml and add another copy of that to the file, where the normal title is replaced with "THE HACKER OF LEGEND". You can also edit the "DisplayTitle" property, which determines what SayakaGL shows in-program as the game's title, ex. in the window title bar.
So kinda like:
/* OoT MQ E Debug */ <Game> <DisplayTitle>Ocarina of Time: Master Quest (E) [Debug] (hacked)</DisplayTitle> <ROMTitle>THE HACKER OF LEGEND</ROMTitle> <GameID>NZLE</GameID> <Version>15</Version> <IsMajora>false</IsMajora> <CodeFile>28</CodeFile> <CodeRAMOffset>0x8001CE60</CodeRAMOffset> <SceneTableOffset>0x10CBB0</SceneTableOffset> <ObjectTableOffset>0x10A6C8</ObjectTableOffset> <ActorTableOffset>0x0F9440</ActorTableOffset> <SceneCount>109</SceneCount> <ObjectCount>402</ObjectCount> <ActorCount>469</ActorCount> </Game>
Hope that helps.
