Replace a waterbox with lava? Now I don't mean just replacing the water texture, now I mean lava, like in Death Mountain crater. How would i go by?
I would have to edit the waterbox? or what?

Edit the collision either manually (in a hex editor) or with Utility of Time. With Utility of time you have two ways to accomplish this:
*Using the "Match Collision to Graphics" option if you used the lava texture from OoT on a certain polygon(s). *Edit the values in the "Collision Flags" section to get the desired effect

yes, except water has no collision, the bottom (the ground under the water) has collision, but that wouldn't give the desired effect.
+ the water texture is transparent which would give an unwanted effect. Also I want link to die as soon as he touches it, like in the crater.

You edit the polygon you want to make lava, not waterboxes. Sorry, I left that out of my last post

They made a lava texture part of the mesh and then gave lava collision to the polygon beneath it

@jason, yes but the texture is semi-transparent and I would have to remove the waterbox for it to work?
also what is the collision type for 'deathfloor'

Semi-transparent lave in the game? Show me and then I'll understand why none of my tips have helped you

no I'm gonna edit WATER into LAVA the water is semi transparent, (The textures themselves are not semi transparent, it is controlled via a hex value) and if I would make it into a lava texture it would be transparent.
Also the waterbox doesn't have collision so I can't really make it into lava. So I was looking for a good way to do this.
