So my roommate claims to be better at OOT than me.
So I challenged him to the greatest party mod evar.
Thing is, we haven't made it yet O.o
Here's the idea so far:
The mod consists of three rooms, then a fourth with a chest and spirally stairs that lead back to the first (so it loops forever).
ROOM ONE:
A jungle of blocks, this room tests your item usage. It has a single button hidden behind/under one out of a shitton of crates; two of those crystal switch things; and three of those "shoot me with an arrow" eye wall switches. BTW, you're timed to like, 12 seconds to hit all of the switches or it's game over.
ROOM TWO:
This room is designed after the Cinnibar gym from the ORIGINAL Pokemon series. There are two platforms that touch the lava, the one you enter at, and the one you exit at. The one you enter at has a ladder in case you fall. Suspended by the ropes from Goron City is a third "arena" platform, filled with Wolfos, Lizafos, and Iron Knuckles. Kill all to proceed to room three.
ROOM THREE:
This one is crazy. This room is nothing more than a huge pit, with nothing to stand on except for hookshot posts. Your enemies in this room: Ice Keeses; Arwings; and a single Beamos set on top of one of the eight posts. A fall results in a game over.
To make this room somewhat bearable, there is a semi-circular ledge at the entrance and exit, as well as on the sides in the center. To reach these located on the side there will be a hookshot wall pad thing. Just to piss you off, there will also be a few of those Green Skull on Fire Dudes located at both of the side ledges.
CHEST ROOM:
The chest room, reached after the third room, contains a chest with either: a single heart; 5 arrows; 5 bombs; a single rupee.
SPIRAL STAIRS:
The spiral stairs connect the chest and first rooms. Of course, these stairs are filled to the brim with annoying (normal) Keeses--which you must kill all of to open the door at the top of the stairs.
In all, the challenge is you survive with limited resources, for as many levels as you can. Yes, it would get repetitive, but we plan to add a level of randomness to the mod.
If anyone feels up to helping us with this mod, feel free to contact me (or just say so here, 'twould be much simpler honestly).
