I'll write some basics on it here. 1.Adding new characters When downloading characters for mugen, you need to extract the contents into the character folder into a folder that shares the same name as the .def file. So thing would look like this. Mugen>Characters>" name" > "name.def" After thats settled, go back into the root Mugen folder and head into the data folder. Inside there's a file called "Select.def" Open Select.def with a text editing program, like notepad. Once open, scroll down to where it says something along the lines of "insert character here" Below you see "Randomselect" taking up several lines. This would be a, guess what? A random select block on your mugen select screen. Now remember how I told you you to name your character's folder? Replace a single "Randomselect" line with the name of the character's folder. Save and test it out. Once you get the gist of it, you'll be adding several characters at a time. On a personal note, be sure to check every character you add, else you might run into a faulty character in arcade mode, causing Mugen to crash. I was planning on writing more, but well...I'm busy spriting.

Hmm...Well I've never bothered making my own characters, been a bit too busy for that, but I'll be willing to help with one.
That is if either one of us learns how too.
