Ok Ash... Thanks for posting a topic on here. You reminded me to post the answer to what it was.
Well, It is a Prototype Courtyard that was being built for Zelda64. The Courtyard had a Triangle window, And it represented the Triforce, Obviously.
When Link in Zelda64, Got there he was supposed to look out of the Triforce of Courage part of the Triforce window. (Although they never finished the window) And Zelda was supposed to be looking in the Triforce of Wisdom part of the Window. Although, there was a slight Difficulty, Because it wasn't possible to actually do that. Oh, and when you saw Ganondorfs head out of the window it should of appeared in the top part of the Triforce window.
The "Getting Past the Guards Thing" was at Ground Level, but they decided it was TOO HARD, to see the guards and then to go past them. Also, this was an early map from when the project of Zelda64 started. It's that old. But they decided not to finish it, so they took this part of the game and Re-edited with guards, and a sky view of Link and the Guards.
I hope this helped.

Getting The Triforce Was Nearly Possible But The Makers Of The Game Took It Away.
