I just had an idea where all of the best modders from this forum get together and make like a super mod. Does anyone else agree with me?

Maybe not right now as DeathBasket and I are planning our own mod.

Well its not as easy as you think, you need to take in account: Planning People involved Whether or not the modders actually want to take part If the team members like each other/work well in a team/work with each others ideas The style of each modification The level of hacking knowledge of each team member Current projects under way and most importantly Time zones and real life situations
Time zones is a real impact on modding, the mod me and DeathBasket are doing is not made easy by the fact that I have to stay up till 2AM to speak with him about it, and on weekends I may be busy. Planning a mod is not as easy as you think as you need a good plan if working in a team as everyone needs to know what they are doing, and the level of motivation is also an issue. This could possibly work, but if it is to be done right and to be done successfully, it may take over a year, and I don't think many people will want to finish it after a while.

THe problems are all of what IvanX said, plus all of the best modders will do stuff differently and it will end up leading to disagreements and most people just won't want to be involved in the first place.
If you want to see an awesome mod, the best thing to do is learn to hack and do it yourself.

True, I just don't have that kind of time yet. After I finish karate I should have more time to get into that kind of stuff.
