Lets you edit the text from your ROMs. Open your ROM with the program and it will come up with a load of text, all you have to do is change it to whatever you want.

be careful not to change the lenght of the text tho so wherever a line ended before you changed it, it needs to end there when you done just make sure to always use it on a backup, and you should be fine

I would edit a backup rom then make the changes as a patch. That way others can enjoy the text you change.

ai movements, being able to dodge any object and move thru any set of obstacles efficiently id explain it here, but it would take a LOT of diagrams

no, i am not getting paid and its a really, in depth kinda thing, everything from virtual ai to explaining why we walk around people in the hallway i hope to one day show this to a colledge board once i get it all figured out, just to blow them away EDIT: im debating starting a thread dedicated to this, prolly over on my site in the c++ section just cuz ive gotten multiple questions on it, and b/c the calculations of the paths themselves have me stumped i think im gonna need to actually do research on this if i want to get any further on it..

ok, not sure why the prog isnt detecting the rom it only says all that stuff when there is no rom sent to it (didnt drag and drop) tell me what system you are using (xp, vista, etc) the other fix to it is make a copy of the rom and put it in the folder with ZSE rename the rom to something short (less to type that way) like zelda.z64 run ZSE when it asks for the filename, just tell it zelda.z64 or w/e you named it next, type anything here, it doesnt matter, jst so long as there are no spaces i always use x.dump for this one for the next step, name it x.patch or w/e, as long as its not the same as the second name that you chose now it might say "performing byte flip", which just sets the rom in order for us to understand the text after that you should be set to just do what i did in the help vid if you downloaded it if it still doesnt work, just reply and tell me what it is doing, and ill give it a look might just be a bug on my part, if so, thanx for finding it

CLARIFICATION: Okay, don't drag -n- drop the rom to the OPEN zse.exe Drag -n- drop it to the .exe icon, without opening it. This opens the program, and sends it the filename of what was dnd'd to it.
Just thought I'd say that, as someone has just asked about that earlier.
