lol, Start by getting Rice video plugin ( www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=26442), and install it. Open up your emulator (I use PJ64, its the easiest ) and set it up. Now for the good part! During the game go "System>Configure graphics plugin" and got to "Texture Filter" and tick "dump textures to file". When you have finished playing open your installed directory of PJ64, open "plugin>texture_dump" and voila! your textures should be there. If you really want to re-texture then make copies of the textures you want to use. Now open Photoshop or a picture editing program of your choice and fire away! Make sure you don't save a copy but save over the original. Now without starting your game, go back into "Configure graphics plugin" and instead of ticking Dump textures, tick Load textures. Now go and play your game with your own textures im sorry but this makes no sense!!!

I got Rice's Video working and I also have Direct X and no matter what I do I can't see the Mirror Shield texture in Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask! How do I fix this?

the rest of the sword is solid colour, you cant dump it. Close, but you're as far from the truth as possible. See attachment. It's a blank copy of my modified texture, by the way--the normal texture is 16x16 pixels. I'm too lazy to grab it. Oh, and by the way, this thing also affects the Mirror Shield's inner colors, too. Yes. Just fill it in with whatever color you want--but don't make it a static color or the sword won't be shiny at all. A liquid texture effect will work fine for it.
