Yes, you heard the title. We can now make new areas and objects from wavefront obj data . Over the past few days I really plugged away at my converter, and it has payed off. Video: Python (version 2.5) script: www.spinout182.com/modelconvert.pyEnjoy. maybe a tut for this, explaining exactly what all you would need to go about doing this, a "for starters list" kinda thing

Download python 2.5.4 (can be found at python.org) Run script (doesn't need any command line args) Give it what it asks for (obj file and scale) Insert into ROM
btw, you need to have collision_fixer.exe from ZLE2 in the same folder as this script.

Now that's just holy-sweet-win-epic-Falcon-Punch-awesome.
I guess this makes it a lot easier than making your own Zmaps and Zscenes lol.
Also, can we expect texture support anytime soon? That'd be just perfection.
